Synopsis
In this 11th edition of “Conferences and Debates on Science”, jointly organised with Springer Nature, and under the title “Artificial Intelligence in Biomedicine. What the future holds for us”, we address current major topics thanks to the participation and collaboration of renowned personalities. There is no doubt of the extraordinary progress that computer science applied to biomedicine has experienced in recent years and the extraordinary impact that its implementation may have, not only on data analysis, but also on favouring the diagnosis and decisionmaking in treatment, as well as on increasing the capabilities of surgical techniques with uses that were unimaginable some years ago.
