Synopsis
Not so long ago nobody would have thought of basing his/her career on the study of Down syndrome; it was considered so difficult that the logical question was: “what for?” Fortunately, the situation has changed and this is what makes the session I am proud to moderate, extremely interesting. The fact that there are researchers who have become fully involved in this area and that so much progress has been made in this field is really fascinating
