Abstract
The analysis of public choice and social preferences towards the different policies for environmentally-friendly energies and "green" transport is of crucial importance to design public policies that are consistent with social preferences. The fundamental aim of this project is to study the social preferences towards less polluting energies and green fuels in Spain, in order to determine which public policies should be carried out, based on the existing technological capabilities and citizens' preferences. This objective will be achieved through an analysis of both the preferences declared in a national survey about attitudes towards climate change control policies and analysis of market data (revealed preferences) on the demand for green fuels.
