Breviary of the human animal, published by the professor of Psychiatry, Enrique Baca, in 2019, includes a deep exposition on the nature of the human being in its many facets. In its pages he analyzes what we are from genetics to biography, and from the determined to the invented. The Ramón Areces and Deliberar foundations set out to unravel the content of this work through a series of ‘Conversations about the human being’. In them, Professor Baca spoke with the Director of the Royal Academy of History, Carmen Iglesias; the philosophers Amelia Valcárcel and Fernando Savater, and the journalist Iñaki Gabilondo. The conversations were moderated by José Lázaro, from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
