Humanities activities

Europe has suffered throughout its history different processes of dismemberment and political and economic reunification. This Colloquium focused on two ruptures, the first occurred in the 20th century and the second in the 21st century. The dismemberment of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire was a catastrophe both politically and economically.

The rupture of the 21st century has been starred by the United Kingdom. Although it is still too early to assess its consequences, the departure of the United Kingdom from the EU should in no case be underestimated.
