  • Description
  • Programme

Mobility, livestock, cement, and energy add about 40 billion tons of CO2 to the atmosphere each year. Accumulating and increasing amounts of CO2 will dramatically impact life on earth. This course of action is clearly unsustainable.

In this symposium, you will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the inventions and sustainable technology solutions developed by Professor Ian Hunter, an award-winning inventor, scientist, entrepreneur and MIT Professor. These disruptive innovations will both change the world and better humanity.

Professor Hunter is accompanied by the CEOs of the companies he cofounded, originating from his research, including painless needle-free injections, in-wheel propulsion systems, solar powered cars, and carbon-based batteries.

The symposium will be closed by a senior executive of Fonterra, the world's leading exporter of dairy products, who will present a solution to eliminate methane production in cattle, a technology also invented by Prof. Hunter, as well as a talk from Dr. Lynette Jones, who will discuss a new approach to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education.
