Algorithms, as fundamental elements of artificial intelligence and the management of Big Data, constitute an opportunity and a risk. In this conversation, different legally relevant aspects of the practical application of algorithms were analyzed and what are the necessary bases to channel them legally, so that the opportunities they pose are taken advantage of and the inherent risks are limited.

The energy policy of the EU and the States is focused on the energy transition and the solution of its challenges. Energy law plays an essential role in its achievement, in the protection of energy consumers and in the integration of its social dimension to achieve a just energy transition.

The obligation of companies to organize internal complaint channels, the relationships of these intra-company systems and procedures with external, institutional, or public complaints; the problem of the veracity of information and false complaints and the relationship between the obligation to report and business secrets are issues of the utmost interest for the organization by companies of adequate complaint systems. All these legal issues were analyzed in the labor and criminal spheres.

The transformation of business models changes the organization of work, giving rise to a growing diversity of productive systems that demand new legal regulations or the adaptation of existing ones to meet their singularities when their dimension acquires significance in the productive-economic systems. Working for digital platforms has been the subject of various legal qualifications of the courts in Spain and in other countries. The agreement between the social partners and the Government to address a legal regulation opens the field of analysis to numerous aspects.

The Digital Rights Charter aims to propose a framework for the protection of rights in the digital environment and aims to serve as a basis for debate in the context of the European Union. The conversation focused on the process of drafting the Charter, its meaning and some aspects of its content will be addressed in detail, such as freedom of expression, digital heritage, or rights to artificial intelligence.
